Migration Services in India
Move your store to Shopify with every product, customer, order and ranking carried across.
Introduction
EIT Connect handles WordPress to Shopify migration in India for store owners who are tired of plugin updates, hosting issues and checkout bugs. Most of the businesses we help run WooCommerce on WordPress and want a hosted platform that just works, with faster pages, simpler management and a checkout customers trust. Whether you need a straight WooCommerce to Shopify migration in India or a full redesign along the way, we migrate WordPress to Shopify without losing your product data, customer history or the search rankings you've built over the years.
What We Offer
Our Shopify migration services cover data, design, apps, payments and SEO in one managed project.
A review of your products, variants, customers, orders, plugins, content and traffic, with a data map, URL map and fixed estimate.
Products, variants, images, SKUs, prices, stock and attributes moved, with WooCommerce categories restructured into Shopify collections.
Customer records, addresses and order history imported so support, loyalty and reporting carry on, with account activation invites sent to customers.
Product reviews, active discount codes and gift card balances moved or recreated, so loyal customers keep their benefits.
Your current look recreated on a Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme, or a fresh design if the move is a chance to improve conversion.
Each WooCommerce plugin matched to a Shopify app or built-in feature, with custom apps only where nothing suitable exists.
Indian payment gateways, UPI, COD with verification, courier and shipping-aggregator apps, and GST-compliant invoices configured before launch.
Every old product, category, page and blog URL redirected to its Shopify equivalent, metadata carried over, then a planned switch and post-launch monitoring.
What Moves
These are the five data areas we move, and how each lands in Shopify.
Simple and variable products, images, SKUs, inventory and attributes, with categories mapped to collections and tags.
Customer profiles, addresses and past orders, so you keep your customer history and lifetime value data.
Pages and blog posts moved to Shopify, or your WordPress blog kept and linked if you publish a lot of content.
Reviews, discount codes, gift cards and email subscriber consent, reconnected to your email and marketing tools.
Meta titles, descriptions, image alt text and every URL, mapped to Shopify's structure with 301 redirects.
Plugins to Apps
Most WooCommerce plugins have a Shopify app or built-in feature that does the same job.
| On WooCommerce | On Shopify |
|---|---|
| Payment gateway plugins | Indian gateway apps (e.g. Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU), UPI and COD settings |
| Shipping and courier plugins | Shipping aggregator and courier apps, Shopify shipping profiles |
| SEO plugins (Yoast, Rank Math) | Built-in SEO fields, URL redirects, SEO apps where needed |
| Product reviews | Shopify review apps with imported reviews |
| Subscriptions | Shopify Subscriptions or subscription apps |
| Custom fields (ACF) | Metafields and metaobjects |
| Multilingual / multi-currency | Shopify Markets and translation apps |
| Wholesale / B2B plugins | Shopify B2B (Plus) or wholesale apps |
Tech Stack
The reasons we hear most come down to three things.
No plugin conflicts, server updates or security patches; Shopify handles hosting, security and updates.
A reliable checkout and simpler payment setup reduce abandoned carts and support tickets.
Festive-sale traffic, new markets and new sales channels without re-engineering your site.
How We Work
Seven steps to migrate WordPress to Shopify while your current store keeps selling.
Your catalogue, customers, plugins, integrations, content and goals.
Every product, collection, page and post mapped, plus a plan for each plugin.
Store settings, theme design or rebuild, apps, payments and shipping on a staging store.
A sample migration checked for accuracy before the full run.
Products, customers, orders, reviews, discounts and content moved, then validated.
Redirects, metadata, test orders, payments, COD and mobile checks.
Final sync of new orders and customers, DNS switch, and post-launch monitoring of rankings and sales.
Why EIT Connect
Lots of tools can copy products. Good Shopify migration services, and a WordPress to Shopify migration agency worth hiring, protect what the tools miss: rankings, customer experience and the details that keep orders flowing.
Every URL mapped to Shopify's structure and redirected, with metadata and alt text preserved.
Customers, orders, reviews and gift cards moved, so loyal buyers feel nothing has changed.
Payments, COD, shipping and GST configured properly before the first order on Shopify.
Your WordPress store keeps selling until the switch, followed by a final sync of any new orders.
Experienced teams delivering from India, whether you hand us the whole migration or outsource one part, with your new store fully yours.
WordPress to Shopify migration is moving an online store or website from WordPress (usually with WooCommerce) to Shopify. It covers products, customers, orders, content, design, apps, payments and shipping, plus redirecting old URLs so search rankings carry over.
In a WooCommerce to Shopify migration we move products and variants, images, SKUs, inventory, categories as collections, customers and addresses, order history, reviews, discount codes, gift cards, pages, blog posts and SEO metadata.
Not if the migration in India is planned properly. Shopify uses fixed URL patterns such as /products/ and /collections/, so we map every old URL and add 301 redirects, carry over metadata and alt text, and monitor Search Console after launch.
No. For security reasons, passwords can't be transferred between platforms. Customer accounts and order history move across, and customers receive an invite to activate their Shopify account and set a new password.
Shopify Payments isn't available in India, so stores use third-party gateways such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU for UPI, cards and net banking. We also set up COD with verification and partial-prepaid options to reduce returns.
You have two options. We can move your blog posts to Shopify's built-in blog with redirects, or keep WordPress for content and link it to your Shopify store if you publish a lot of articles.
A small store usually takes 3 to 5 weeks; larger catalogues with custom design, many plugins or Shopify Plus take 6 to 12 weeks. Cost depends on catalogue size, data volume, design and integrations, and we share a fixed quote after an audit.
Look for a written data and URL map, a test migration before the full run, experience with your plugins and Indian payments, zero-downtime launch with a final data sync, and post-launch support. EIT Connect covers each of these with one team.
Share your store URL and we'll send a migration plan with data map, timeline and a fixed estimate.
